Racket Hire & Damage Policy:
Upon rental, each individual’s name will be recorded against the racket issued to them. Each racket will be inspected by a member of staff before it is handed out and will be inspected again upon return.
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of all rental equipment while it is in their possession. Normal wear and tear from appropriate use is accepted; however, if a racket is returned damaged or broken as a result of negligence, misuse or improper handling, the individual responsible will be charged the full replacement cost of the racket.
Misuse includes, but is not limited to, hitting or throwing the racket against the ground, glass, fencing, posts or any other surface.
What is an Open Match?
An Open Match allows you to book and pay for your individual space on a padel court rather than paying for the entire court.
You are effectively reserving one quarter of the court, with the remaining spaces available for other players to join. Open Matches can be made public, allowing other players on the platform to join, or private for friends and invited players.
It's a great option if you don't already have a group of four and is also a brilliant way to meet new players.
Do you offer coaching, group sessions and activities?
Yes. We run a variety of coaching sessions, social activities and group sessions for different abilities.
These can all be viewed and booked through our Activities page, including sessions such as Welcome to Padel, beginner and intermediate coaching, glass sessions, social sessions and more.
Can I cancel my booking and will I receive a refund?
Yes. Bookings can be cancelled through the app or website.
Non-members can cancel up to 24 hours before their scheduled booking, while members benefit from a reduced cancellation window of up to 6 hours before play.
Where a cancellation is made within the permitted cancellation period, the booking value will be returned as credit to your Padel Peterborough account to use towards a future booking.
How do I increase my player level?
When creating your account, your player rating will automatically begin at Level 1.
Your rating can then be increased through participation in coaching sessions and activities, or by booking a Level Assessment with one of our coaches. Your coach will assess your playing standard and update your rating where appropriate.
Where is the entrance to the courts?
When arriving on site, look for the green gate marked 'PADEL PETERBOROUGH ENTRANCE', located next to the Powerleague clubhouse.
If your booking is between 8am-3:30pm Monday-Friday during school term time, a member of the team will meet you at the entrance and escort you to the courts.
Outside of these hours, including weekends, bank holidays and non-school term times, no escort is required and you can follow the path directly to the courts.
How much is membership and how long does it last?
Padel Peterborough membership is a one-off payment of £65 and is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Membership can then be renewed annually.
